Rayanne Hunter

Personal Trainer | Owner

Rayanne is an ISSA (International Sports and Science Association) Certified Personal Trainer and NSFA (Nova Scotia Fitness Association) Group Fitness Leader. She also holds certifications in various specialties like TRX Suspension Training, Spin, Pre and Post Natal exercise design, Agatsu Kettlebell, Kickboxing and foam rolling. 

Caring and helping others comes naturally to her – so in 2012 she decided to make a career out of this wonderful thing! Having trained in several gyms and studios in the past decade, she opened her own RH Fitness & Wellness in 2018 and it 2022 it was time to grow to the beautiful boutique fitness center in Bayers Lake that you see now!

Renita Muise

Personal Trainer

Renita graduated from Dalhousie University with an undergrad in Kinesiology. She an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and super excited to be at RH. Things she enjoy are the gym of course, expanding her knowledge in her field (she recently just completed a Nutritionist course), reading, clay art, and spending time with her two cats and boyfriend! 

Taylor Mitchell

Fitness Instructor

“I began training with Rayanne after a life of little weight lifting and routine movement and it brought a huge sense of enjoyment and strength that I never knew possible. In this time I have realized how important it is to bring approachability to the fitness world. I love to offer a class that can be suited for both mobility and strength, offering modifications and options, fun tunes and a feeling of overall strength.

Since beginning to teach I have realized it’s something I enjoy so very much, and thankful that I can be in an environment where everyBODY has a place for movement and feeling strong. I believe in a life of balance, both literally and figuratively. I’m looking forward to gaining more certifications and helping others along the way!

In my spare time you can find me with my fur babies, trying new food, or in the gym trying a new workout. Look forward to meeting you!”


Leanne Whitehall

Fitness Instructor

Born in beautiful British Columbia and residing in Nova Scotia since 2013, Leanne has joined the team as a Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Team Lead.  Leanne is a proud Canadian Armed Forces Veteran with an extensive professional background that includes working for the Government of Canada.  


Transitioning into a new career, Leanne found solace and passion at RH Fitness. It was during this time that she re-discovered her love for fitness and its transformative power. Embracing the role of a positive representative for a safe space for all bodies, Leanne strives to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and empowered.


Beyond her dedication to fitness, Leanne is a strong advocate for mental health. Drawing from personal experiences, she understands the importance of prioritising self-care and openly sharing her journey. Their resilience and commitment to raising awareness make them a powerful ally in the fight to destigmatize mental health.


Leanne turned to fitness about 12 years ago and has encountered numerous challenges and triumphs, constantly learning and growing along the way. As the Team Lead and a group fitness instructor, she helps inspire and motivate others to reach their full potential, fostering a sense of camaraderie and support within their fitness community.


In all aspects of life, Leanne embodies the spirit of a helpful, relatable, and friendly individual who hopes to continue to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Jo-Leen Saulnier

Yoga Instructor

"My passion for yoga started very unexpectedly, I injured my wrist and was into a lot of sports that I wasn’t able to return to. I had just moved into the area and kept noticing Halifax Yoga.  I finally got the courage to go in and take a class which was a hot power. At the end of the class I knew I was in love with my new found release for my mind, body and soul.  

I am now a Yoga Teacher and have been teaching for a few years, I started immediately after I graduated from the 200HR Power vinyasa teacher training and recently graduated from a Mentorship program at Halifax Yoga.

I’m always grateful for the opportunity to guide and hold space for others during their practice, it truly is an honour that can not be put into words."
